How does New Chapter ferment their vitamins?

New Chapter starts by mixing organic good yeast with natural plant carbohydrates. Vitamins and minerals are added to the yeast solution, along with organic, non-GMO soy and additional organic whole food, such as alfalfa, carrot, and orange peel, for fermentation. The yeast begins a bioation by absorbing nutrients into its cell structure and breaking them down. Enzymes from tropical fruit are added to slow the fermentation process.
