This specially formulated oil-based stain controlled penetration, ensuring a consistent color tone without streaks or lap marks. Suitable for use on all types of wood—whether unfinished or previously finished—it can also be applied over painted or varnished surfaces to create a beautiful wood grain effect. I for cabinets, floors, paneling, antiques, doors, wood trim, unfinished furniture, steel, and fiberglass doors, this stain covers up to 800 square feet per quart, depending on the wood’s porosity. Allow three hours for drying time, and protect your finish by applying ZAR® Polyurethane topcoat. For application, use a lint- cloth, foam applicator, or natural bristle brush.
