Charlotte Pipe 1/2" FIP Schedule 40 Threaded PVC Adapter is a female adapter with a washer made from durable CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride), designed to handle both hot and cold water pressure distribution systems in residential and commercial settings. This adapter features a female socket and female NPT threaded connection, allowing seamless adaptation from a solvent weld connection to a threaded one. CPVC is an excellent choice for applications involving hot corrosive liquids and water distribution above the temperature range of standard PVC, as it resists rust, pitting, scaling, and corrosion. Easy to install through solvent cementing or threading, this lead- fitting meets UPC, IPC, and cUPC standards and is NSF Listed, ANSI and IAPMO .
